The UN's aid coordination office warned on August 3, 2026, that drone strikes in Sudan are killing civilians and preventing humanitarian workers from reaching people in conflict-affected areas.
OCHA, which oversees the coordination of international humanitarian assistance, said the attacks are ongoing and continue to affect areas already hit by armed conflict, United Nations News reported.
The office said the strikes are both a direct threat to civilian life and a barrier to aid delivery across Sudan.
