Privacy policy
The Fair Report is built to be read, not to track you. We do not set cookies, we do not require accounts, and we do not sell or share personal information with anyone.
What we collect
- Web analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool, to understand aggregate readership — page views, referrers, country-level location, and browser type. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not track you across sites.
- Server logs. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve and secure the site. This operational data is retained briefly for security and debugging.
- Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact form, we keep what you send — including a reply address if you choose to provide one — for as long as needed to handle your request.
What we don't do
- No cookies, no consent banners needed.
- No advertising trackers or social-media pixels.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of personal information.
- No profiles of individual readers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information — under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests are short work. Send them through the contact form with the topic "Privacy / data request" and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Children
The site is general-audience news and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here. This version is effective July 4, 2026.
