A Honduran national living in Princeton without legal status was indicted on federal charges tied to the kidnapping of a child, U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs announced on July 9, 2026.
The indictment was filed in the Eastern District of Texas. The child was taken from Louisiana, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The Justice Department did not state a motive or purpose behind the kidnapping in its announcement.
