The Justice Department said McDaniel operated online under the alias "The_wild_wolfspider." The charge he faces involves threats to damage or destroy property through fire or explosives.
According to the Justice Department, the generators targeted in the alleged threat supply power to federal buildings in Sacramento. McDaniel was 19 years old at the time of his arrest.
