NASA astronaut Anil Menon and Roscosmos cosmonauts Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina lifted off aboard Soyuz MS-29 on July 14, 2026, and docked with the International Space Station the same day, according to NASA.

The spacecraft left the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 10:47 a.m. EDT. The cosmodrome sits in Kazakhstan, and local time at the launch site was 7:47 p.m.

The trio's arrival brought the ISS crew count to 10 people. BBC News Science reported the mission is planned to run eight months. That expanded crew of 10 is expected to remain at that number for roughly two weeks following the docking.

Menon had posed for a spacesuit portrait at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, on January 8, 2026, ahead of the flight. The three crew members joined the Expedition already aboard the station.
