A woman from Lame Deer was sentenced today to six years in federal prison for trafficking a child for sex, the U.S. Department of Justice announced.
The conviction centers on the sex trafficking of a minor, according to the Justice Department. Upon release, the woman will serve an additional five years under supervised release, the agency said.
Lame Deer is a community in Montana. The Justice Department did not identify the defendant by name in the information made available.
