A guilty plea has been entered by Andy Sanborn in connection with the misuse of federal pandemic relief money, the U.S. Department of Justice announced. The funds in question came from the CARES Act, the relief program established during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the total amount Sanborn improperly used exceeded $250,000. The department made the announcement public, confirming that Sanborn admitted guilt in the matter.
