The White House launched GOLD EAGLE on July 14, 2026, a clearinghouse built to coordinate the identification and patching of cybersecurity vulnerabilities tied to artificial intelligence systems.
The initiative is part of President Trump's agenda to secure and accelerate AI innovation in the United States. American critical infrastructure companies and open-source software partners both took part in building the system, the White House said.
GOLD EAGLE is designed to receive reports of cyber vulnerabilities and move them toward patches at scale. CyberScoop reported that by the time of the announcement, the clearinghouse had already begun taking in intelligence on vulnerabilities and prioritizing fixes.
The system focuses specifically on cybersecurity threats related to AI, according to CyberScoop.
