The Federal Trade Commission began distributing more than $23.8 million in refunds on August 12, 2026, to Grubhub drivers and diners across the United States harmed by the company's deceptive practices.
The payments stem from a settled FTC case against Grubhub, TechCrunch reported. Checks are being mailed to eligible recipients.
The FTC said Grubhub made deceptive earnings claims targeting its drivers and engaged in misleading and unlawful conduct toward diners.
